A memoir with a difference.

Dr Robert Brockie recalls the people, particularly the women, places and experiences that have shaped his life, alongside his pioneering scientific work and five decades of political cartooning. Sketches, portraits, caricatures and cartoons bring his memories to life, revealing the wit and eye for detail for which he is renowned.

It also includes 40 years as the National Business Review cartoonist, several books and more than 600 popular newspaper science columns. The result is an engaging portrait of a life shaped by art, science and an enduring curiosity about the world.
