NZ Tea Towel Set - Papers Past

Dry your dishes with a slice of New Zealand history.
This set of two tea towels features a detailed sketch map of the North and Middle islands, charted by the Public Works Department in 1878. Pore over the old place names while you wipe down the plates, and you'll find proof that Johnsonville has always been on the map!

• Set of two
• 100% unbleached cotton – absorbent and ready for everyday drying duty.
• Water-based dye only – no Plastisol or other alternatives, so the print sits inside the fabric rather than on top.
• Soft and washable – the print stays soft to the touch and washes well.

A thoughtful gift for map lovers, history buffs, and anyone who likes their kitchen with a story, from the Papers Past collection at the National Library of New Zealand.
