The Friends of the Turnbull Library champion one of New Zealand’s most important cultural institutions. 
We promote public engagement with the Alexander Turnbull Library’s collections, support vital research, and help preserve our documentary heritage for future generations.

From as early as 1860, these images remind us of the joy we can find in a good book, and the pleasure it can be to share it with others.

This calendar brings together a range of wonderful photos from the collections of the Alexander Turnbull Library at the National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa, Wellington, New Zealand.
